Mitch f Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 And we don't need any more pressure on it! "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
Blazerman Posted July 29, 2013 Author Posted July 29, 2013 That is the main reason we always head up to Plum ford (and sometimes farther) from our place by the k bridge. We very rarely see many others boats. Yesterday we only saw two all day and only one was fishing. I have said before on here that I think the middle stretch of river from the access at Sand ford down to Redhorse actually doesn’t get near the pressure you would think. It is something like 18 miles which is tough to float in a day especially if you are trying to fish it productively. You would probably need to camp a night or two. We hardly ever see more then a couple canoes on each trip. We do see other jet boats but they are normally cruising and parking on the beaches and not fishing.
ollie Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 That's a HOG! "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
marcusearlt Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Now that is a good Smallie. Nothing like the better half catching fish with you. "If people don't occasionally walk away from you shaking their heads, you're doing something wrong." John Gierach
