Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted October 4, 2013 Root Admin Posted October 4, 2013 I guess MLB is testing the waters to see if they can make more money on MLB.TV than TBS today... I for one am not going to pay the $4.99 because if enough do, they'll start broadcast playoff games via internet instead of free network TV. I say free- know it's not free- but that's what most of us have - cable TV. I'll listen on the radio.
moguy1973 Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Really?? I thought TBS was showing all the LDS and LCS games. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
ColdWaterFshr Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 No kidding, Phil. I just bought U-verse service with HD and 300 some odd channels and I can't get the Cardinals game??? I'm not paying the $4.99 either. KMOX for me too
Jerry Rapp Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 I think you can stream it in the internet via espn3? Direct has the MLB network. Not worth watching so far.
David Unnerstall Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 It is only on the MLB network, today. There is MLBTV whereby one can watch on a computer from the Internet and there is the MLB package that cable.satellite providers can offer. I don't know if they are the same. Anyway I am imprisoned in my cubicle watching MLB Gameday. I wish SOMETHING would break in the field so I can get out of here and listen to it.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted October 4, 2013 Author Root Admin Posted October 4, 2013 Jerry's right. Dud today.
exiledguide Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 I buy MLB extra inning package get every game played that is on TV only the KC Walmart Royals have a few games that they don't put on TV and then they block the broadcast of the other team. Cost $ 200.00 each year but it cost me more than that to go to ST Louis for a game.
moguy1973 Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Wonder what the point of having a noon game was then if TBS wasn't going to show the game. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
exiledguide Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Probably just to screw you hoping you will sign up and pay the money. The owners live in a different world then we do
Mitch f Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Wish I would've read this before I paid the $4.99 "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
