Take a look at the Common Cents Data chart. I'm a little concerned the one I got is gonna be really wimpy. If I had it to do over again, I might lean a little heavier like one near 15 penny deflection.

Well I got my first fishing kayak so now I have to decide on a rod or kayak add ons. Decisions decisions ?.

mic. You want a good paddle that fits you. I'm not a big modify and add on to my Yak guy, but I can certainly understand having to prioritize and wait on things a while. Tenkara isn't going anywhere.

I continue to get geared up and mentally ready. 

I bought some 7X and 8X tippet today. I learned to tie the Davy knot. I've been practicing my Figure 8 knot and arbor knot. I bought some larger tippet rings and a doohickey to hold little tiny BS flys while tying them to tippet. 

Anxious to get out and use it.

Those doohickeys are cool and I've bought to many of them. Most I still can't work.

I'd head over to Norfork, it's been off periodically for a couple days and today.

I'd go upstream from handicap and dapple some dry flies.

Start at the shoal up at the island and work my way down.

Tan caddis, stimulator and a griffiths gnat is all you would need.

Man I wish I was there.

Those are good ideas and It's on my radar. I also have some riffles in mind that I want to swing a scud or sowbug thru as well. Just have to bide my time a bit. 

I want to do an all day trip in yaks from QP to the Confluence.i need a float buddy.
