That $50 free shipping target is like crack. You only have $20 worth of stuff that you need or had planned on getting in your shopping cart...buttttttttttt.....must...spend...at least.....$30....more. I think their website has nicotine in it or something.

Then when you get to around the $125 or so mark; a person just has to find some more stuff to get to $150 and that free shirt!!

I feel your pain guys. I have been busy upgrading several rods and reels, and also baits. Have dropped plenty of $$$ in the last few months. QB....please keep the sales information to yourself. HA HA.

At $125 the hardest part for me is just trying to figure out which colors will look best at church.

Im sorry but I do not care for that brand of plastic baits. I do not like the extreme elasticity. The bass ball them up and it can be hard to set the hook though that stuff. You leave them in the package to long and your have to peel them apart. Be careful where you lay them down as well they will melt into a awful lot if things including tackle boxes. I will agree the sinker type does last longer but it will often change how it sink. I have had them float after being used awhile. I use mostly pro bass. 5 inch ones and and a lot of those cheap trick worms you see at Wall Mart.

They will do that plus a few other tricks.

But cut one in half and stick it on a 1/16oz head, throw it on some mixed rock or gravel and it shines. Mostly using them open hook. The little rig.

One note...they really are not very good as a wacky worm. Will not sink like a senko, nearly impossible to stick an insert weight inside one. Tried it because I enjoy them so much for the little rig, but was not impressed for that application.

They might be alright on a small jig. I have a few of them in my closet. Buried in all the other plastics. I might try it later. But i imagine would draw a lot if smaller fish.

It will, but it also catches keepers hand over fist, and at times and under conditions when others are struggling. Excels on bright, flat calm days, after fronts, on weekends when tmt boats are lined up on the pretty places.

Boy are you right about that - many times I have come behind guys throwing this and caught fish after fish - both large and small and many varieties. Old plug if you don't want to use them send them up here I will put them to good use......well after the ice comes off the lake sometime mid summer!!!

Fishing this way is a great way to get the new fisher person started as it is easy to get used to.
