one of the no-names (Mueller?) , supposedly has 30+ lbs today. Semi verified at the ramp. The BassTrack thing showed him at 4lbs all day. He probably had a marshall with no computer skills, who just wanted to watch the fishing.

Yeah..I have no idea who this Paul Mueller guy is but he had a 32-3 bag. That's a lot of big bass...

My fantasy guys sucked balls today except for Jordan Lee who got a nice bag and made a huge move up the list. And he got Big Bass of the day, that's 2 days in a row I've picked the guy with the big bass...

Edwin takes the lead by an ounce. It's a close one!

He's a great fisherman, did you hear him say he caught his big bass in the tail?

I watched the end of the weigh-in and heard him say that. I guess they allow snagged fish (not that he intentionally snagged it). Anyway, he's lucky he boated that one.

I agree I wasn't sure if I heard that correctly or not

Yeah, if I remember it used to be hooked inside the mouth and then it went to hooked in the head, and now I believe it is the same as all the state game and fish laws that is legally hooked and not Intentionally snagged.

I think that you can qualify for a world record as long as it is not intentional. A lot of this came by fishing stickbaits that are 3 hooked. Very seldom do you not only catch the fish by the mouth but it is also multi hooked on the outside of the mouth or head. Not uncommon for the mouth hook to drop out and still have the fish lip or head hooked.

I think it is a very fair rule. That fish gets up and whollers all over your 3 hooked bait, gosh only knows where he or she gets hooked.

If you are sight fishing, it must be hooked in the mouth. Otherwise, doesn't matter. Of course, state law supercedes BASS rules. California, for one, requires that all fish be hooked in the mouth so BASS has to follow suit with their Cali events.

That is spot on. That is why you will see them make sure to show the camera it is in the mouth when they are sight fishing.

Up here in NE all foul hooked fish must be immediately released also.
