Guest Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Winters in the Ozarks are harsh. I didn't know it would be this bad. What happened to global warming?
jdmidwest Posted March 3, 2014 Author Posted March 3, 2014 Al, you must have been really wanting to get home bad. I would have camped at a Rolla Motel. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
Quillback Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 3 degrees this morning, 4" of snow on top of 2" of sleet. But supposed to hit 45 tomorrow afternoon and 60's by Friday.
laker67 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Winters in the Ozarks are harsh. I didn't know it would be this bad. What happened to global warming? Chupacabra, big foot, yeti, and loch ness. I think global warming can be added to this list as well.

Quillback Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Not as bad as the forecasts were showing a few days ago, but 6" of crap and 3 degrees here is nothing to sneeze at for March 3.
Terrierman Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 I'm naming the next winter storm Ralph. 'Cause that's what it will make me want to do.
Wayne SW/MO Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Not as bad as the forecasts were showing a few days ago, but 6" of crap and 3 degrees here is nothing to sneeze at for March 3. I hear that! It appears we have 4 or 5" of snow on probably a little less than 1/2" of mostly sleet. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
jdmidwest Posted March 4, 2014 Author Posted March 4, 2014 Not much to shovel today, just a little fine powder. On top of 4" of sleet You can drive on just about anything right now with they packed sleet. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S.
