Wayne SW/MO Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 I guess and stand by it. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
fishinwrench Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 I automatically deduct a pound (or 2") from any story I hear, and assume that everyone else does too.
BilletHead Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 So I should add two pounds and four inches so fishinwrench can get the truth from me? Old plug Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 billithead send him pictures. I do it when I het one 21" or longer. except for two in one evening and left the camera at home.
Mitch f Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 The only fish I don't take pictures of are the ones that have the Ozark fish eye infection. You know, the disease when their eye is too close to their tail! "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
Wayne SW/MO Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 billithead send him pictures. I do it when I het one 21" or longer. except for two in one evening and left the camera at home. I'm thinking it would be hard to impress Wrench too much with a LM, but if you're talking SM then 21" would get everybody's attention. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
David Unnerstall Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Are you a liar because you are a fisherman or are you a fisherman because you are a liar? Apparently, I am not good at either one.
Old plug Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 No I am talking about largemouth wayne. I usually tell him how I did everyday. I did not send many pictures last year that is for sure. Only caught 6 that size. I did catch a 21" SM. in Canada years ago on Eagle Lake Ontario. I do not try to impress him. I just send them as a private message so that he does not think I am pulling his leg. I hope to send him more than just 6 this year. I truly hunt those big bass. It is what I like to do. I am really not that interested in catching a lot of fish. I think i am in the last stage of that old saying about a fisherman's life. It goes like. First he wants to catch fish, then he wants to catch a lot of fish, then he wants to catch certain fish, then the want to catch big certain fish, then he just more or less wants to fish. That is Me. 3 to 4 hrs a day on the water. If I catch them feeding fine if I don't I go on in and set on my deck and look over our large garden.
bfishn Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 When it comes to fishing, I actually prefer to be considered a liar. On the (rare) occasion when I give too much away, no one believes me and my spot is just like I left it on my return. And if I say I got skunked on the break on point 5 there'll be a parade there the next day. ...of couse I could be lying about that too... I can't dance like I used to.
