Champ188 Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 I have only this remaining to say, Fatboy. I did not call you a liar. I may have implied it, but no more than you implied that the rest of us here are all bumbling boobs with sub-par fishing skills. I may not be smart enough to catch a 6-pounder six weekends straight, but I'm old/wise enough to have my reservations about whether anyone else did either.
Sore Thumbs Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Maybe he is upset about KU losing in the NCAA tournament. On top of that Joel Embiid and Andrew Wiggins declared for the draft. Tough week for a Jayhawk fan. I could only hope for some success as a Razorback fan. Lol
Members Fat Boy Posted April 2, 2014 Author Members Posted April 2, 2014 Well boys guess I am a liar, partner just pointed out that we didn't have 1 over 6 in the AIA so there. Champ you implied I was a liar just didn't say it good play on words. Read my 1st post I guess I just don't see where I implied you were all bumbling boobs not getting bit.I never said a word about fishing the Cape Fair tourneys was not me, and had I my 4 best maybe would have weighed 16 or so. Me I didn't come here looking for a fight or to bitch about the big boys invading your lake. Guys I catch and have caught a lot of fish in my life but nothing as consistant as what's its been the last 6 or 8 wks as far as heavy sacks. Sorethumbs Wiggins has left not upset Embidd has not yet declared but any day Royals and Jayhawk fan nothing about them upset me its just life. Denjac I ain't catching fish the some of those teams are there 20 plus lb sacks every tourney, but hell you don't believe that either check results bfl AIA Joe bass them men were catching big bags. I'm out of here enjoy your Payton Place,
jmes Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 I truly enjoy the variety and validity of everyone that contributes to this forum and look forwards of years to come.I for one love to fish the competitive tournaments and as time has went by I continue to get better and bigger fish. A lot of people just love to fish and other love to fish tournaments. We all have read about different one that consistently catch big fish and how other consistently catch keepers just about every time they go out. I personally know of several competitive people that catch several quality keepers every time they go out because they put in time to figure them out. If you look at several of tournament result you see people almost on a regular basic catch quality fish. I guess what I'm trying to say everyone has good days and bad days and then sometime you just get on a roll of doing whats right.
Sore Thumbs Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Big Royals and Chiefs fan too. It's been a tough life for me as far as being a fan goes.
Sac River Jim Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 i been following most the pros on fb during the pre fish and ive seen a couple really big smallies posted. i was wondering to myself if the guys that found smallies starting to move might have a good chance to do pretty good or win the whole thing. what you guys think.
Ron Burgundy Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 I would like to see what they would catch if they were allowed to use the A-rig! It will still be scary what they will catch using standard equipment. It will be fun. Are U a Marshall? Gone but not forgotten Martin Ford

I love brown fish, but think there will be too many big blacks caught for limits of brownies to finish high.
Sprint21fter Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Ron, Unfortunately not this year. Family ball games this week. Hopefully will try next year since the Elites normally come every two years.
Sprint21fter Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Fat Boy, I have enjoyed the major butt kickings from you and Mr. Busby, The Fanns, and Mr. Brantly over the last 6-8 weeks. Keep doing what you are doing and don't let people get to you. I am in the crowd that is wondering: "What the heck are they doing" It has been impressive to see these guys catch these bags. You all have indeed figured where these fish are setting up and are fishing for the right bites. I know for a fact it hasn't been a whack fest out there but things are changing by the minute now. Good luck to everyone!
