From somebody with no dog in the Table Rock fight, this forum gets ridiculous sometimes. FatBoy keep doing your thing and don't let the naysayers tell you otherwise. It's always the same group of people that rush to judgement and call people out. They rush to posts when somebody outside the "circle" is catching fish. As soon as I read your post (because it did seem a little braggadocios), I would have bet money on who the first reply was going to be. Who cares if it's an embellished fishing story or not. At least one person has stood up and said FatBoy has been catching them, so why does it matter to you guys. It's fine to be skeptical, but to take it to the next level and publicly call someone a liar is ridiculous. It has nothing to do with you, walk away.

Champ - not once did he even imply anyone was a bumbling fishermen. Not even close. He was not condescending in the least nor did he imply he was catching them better than anyone. He simply said he was catching them.

To all here, I crossed the line in implying Fat Boy didn't catch what he claims he did. I apologize. Won't happen again.

But spahog, this forum was not built into the unmatched wealth of information that it is by people with the attitude of "Who cares if it's an embellished fishing story or not." I care a lot, and so does anyone else who takes their fishing seriously. And there are plenty of people here who fall into that category.

I'm as real as real gets here. I put my name and hometown on the bottom of my posts. Nothing to hide. If I catch em, I say so, tell how/when/where and often post a pic. Likewise, if I don't catch em, I say so, including the same how/when/where info. Knowing what not to do can help other fishermen as much as anything. Besides, unless you have a "low-T" issue, there's no shame in saying you didn't catch em. No one whacks them every time. No one.

Champ your college professor must be proud of you and your play of words, I've always respected you tell now, I'm not a big name so there's no respect for me or the little guy. I can't spell or punicate like you but I work for a living. I Champ am ate up with fishing live for it I fish almost every wkend, self taught we've met before well meet again trust me. Phil you have a great board here please don't stop, men I didn't mean to cause a stir I just wanted to make a statement about what the pros might do. Guys let's go fishing enjoy the best lake in the USA and if your catching and I'm not good for you. In this day and age, everyone has a camera on their cell phone. I don't doubt that most reports are honest but adding pics of your nicer fish will quiet the naysayers.

I do not give reports so I do bot meed pictures. I only pit one pn here. I got a doubting Tomas right away. so I am bot going to be putting on here anyway. And if i did they would be laid out on a measuring board. That is the only way to do it if you are into impressing people.
