I wish this wouldn't have happened on my stream. 10 mile creek is a special mgmt stream and you are only supposed to keep 1 smallmouth. This was a few days ago so black bass season hadn't even opened yet. Counted 17 bass total...9 smallmouth. All the bass were enormous...

Wow that sucks. I was on Meramec today and a lady bank fishing had a LM on a stringer Would not of known she had one but her dog had the bass in its mouth. . I told her that season wasn't open. By the way it was near where the floater got shot. I think the warm windy weather and the fact that people are hungry means stupidly season is in!
