And it is another bait that levels the field for kids, wives, others who may not be great with the FB jig.

The Ned Rig will do the job for your kids and ladies. It is a real fish catcher.

You are correct the Swing Oil doesn't have the ability to change out hooks but it doesn't bother me at all. If the hook point gets rolled I would say I probably landed enough fish on it that I got my money's worth out of it.

Those Swing Oil wobble jigs are WAY more affordable than those biffle heads. Ole Biffle should be ashamed what he's charging for those things!

If your Swing Oil hooks get rolled or dull; just snip them off and put a split ring on the head, then whatever hook you like.:-)

You might say I am aware of that...

Wow that swing oil does have some pretty decent pricing. I never heard of them before. I've been wanting some heavy shaky heads and he has just what I need.

Very versatile rig and for some reason it does seem to get snagged far less often than other bottom dragging rigs. I like to drag mine just like a football jig but they do work well with a slow, steady retrieve. I've been playing with small boottails like a swimming fluke or swing impact and painting the heads in baitfish colors and really liking that setup. You can swim it through those tree tops without having to worry about hanging up like you do with an open hook and I get a better hookup ratio than with a fiberguard jighead.

Thanks guys for the replies and great info. I think I have everything I need to catch some fish with this bait!

The wobble is still really working. One of my friends fished the BFL this last weekend and his non-boater put a limit in the boat on it in about an hour while he was trying to catch topwater fish.

He said the guy was just using a Chompers twin-tail hula grub with a Chompers wobblehead 7/16 and crawl-swimming it on main lake flat gravel that he was throwing topwater on.

Lots of different ways to catch them now, but the wobbler is still slamming fish.

Good luck
