Fish24/7 Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 geez, do we really need another 4-5" minnow lure on the market? when will it stop, lol
Champ188 Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 The more, the merrier, I say. Everyone likes something different.
huntest Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Seems to me that for a serious fisherman to use what might be sub par line, sub par lures, outdated rods and reels etc is a lot like driving on the highway on "may pop" tires. If its the best ya got, God bless, just don't throw rocks at those that have good tires or better fishin gear ?
Champ188 Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 OK, I found the part about Aaron Martens throwing the spy bait at Bay de Noc. Freeze-framed the TV and took a pic of the screen with my phone, so the pic isn't the best. But definitely looks to me like No. 6 trebles of some variety on there. No doubt that's a Megabass XPlose since he's their cover boy. From what I've read, the Duo Realis has received quite a bit better reviews from those who've tried both.

huntest Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 No expiration date on gear. Heck, some of those old relics are still serviceable. I still have a couple of 1962 Shakespeare 5' rods but I'm pretty sure my new rods are better. My old Mitchells are collectable but I like my new Lews better. ?

Your effort is appreciated! I'll be bringing this thing to the rock with me from now on to throw here and there. I'd like to experiment with hooks and line diameter to see what I can get away with. Right now though I've got square bill on the brain.
motoman Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 I have never used tackle warehouse before, they seem to have really good pricing, are they good people to deal with?? Anybody had any issues?? - Duo Realis does make some great looking baits! - Glad the spybait was mentioned during jerkbait time; I was thinking the same thing. Can't wait to see how that pans out. - I order from TackleWarehouse WAY more than I should. They're fantatstic! Great prices, variety, and free shipping over $50. Or typically 2nd day air for $5 when you spend over $50. Sometimes I don't want to wait for ground shipping, and just pay the $5 .:-)
gotmuddy Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 megabass jerks are $20 locally everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
