Jerry Rapp Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Royals do. But if the Cards are lucky enough to meet us... lets go. You said something about another I-70 Series this year. rivalries are great! I hope you guys keep competing for many years. What's the skinny on tonight's game? Is the Baum starting for SF?
Greasy B Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Baumgartner, the snot rocket, wins. It was a good game His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. He becomes captain of the Greasy Bastard, a small ship carrying rubber goods between England and Burma. Michael Palin, Terry Jones, 1974
stlfisher Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Baumgarner was just on fire. maybe the best performance in world series history. Not much the Royals or any team could have done. Still a very impressive run and a great season for the Royals.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted October 30, 2014 Root Admin Posted October 30, 2014 Found myself wanting someone to hit one out just to shut the commentators up!!! That would have been great if Gordon was faster and came around to score on that hit to the wall...
Quillback Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Tough to see them lose, Giants played a good game. One thing the Royals need to work on is plate discipline. Bumgarner is tough enough, you don't need to help him out by swinging at pitches that are a foot out of the strike zone.
moguy1973 Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Found myself wanting someone to hit one out just to shut the commentators up!!! That would have been great if Gordon was faster and came around to score on that hit to the wall... Would have been fun to see if that was Cain that did that instead of Gordon. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
ness Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Found myself wanting someone to hit one out just to shut the commentators up!!! No kidding. Buck was non-stop on the Bumgarner stuff, and his flunky color man was always right behind him. I wanted to drive out to the K, track him down and deck the prep school DB. Saw this going around: John
REDSOXWSCHAMP Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 i ended up muting the TV, Joe Buck should be banned from speaking!!!!!!!!! I wish Gordon would have tried for an inside the parker, I would rather have seen the game end like that, than on a pop-up. good season though.
