Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted December 11, 2014 Root Admin Posted December 11, 2014 Last minute advice - They're supposed to run 150 from 7-10 tomorrow - plan to start 8 at. Can we put in at the White Hole and drift with the generation down to ?... Can we make it all the way to the lodge? Or wait till the water is to Rim and float to the lodge which we did last year.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted December 11, 2014 Root Admin Posted December 11, 2014 We could just wade in at Rim all day - or till the water gets there and then float to the lodge. We'll be in Duane's jet - no prop.
Ham Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 You need to time it so that you are at Buffalo Shoals when that 150 MW of water hits there. I think that rise would hit Rim between 12N-2 PM. It will be at Buffalo Shoals 2-3 hours after that I would put in at Rim with waders on and head downstream. Walking the boat thru the skinniest stuff if need be. I'd want to be below CC at 2 PM and fish out on the rising water planning on getting to Rileys right at dark. You can definitely catch fish in that area with min flow. I'd be throwing 1/32 AND 1/16 OZ JIGS until the water hit and then pick up the 1/8 oz and never put it down. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

Ham Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 I've got some yaks and a canoe. if they aren't going to run water, we might want to think about yak fishing it . Just saying. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

If I wasn't going to be on the interstate tomorrow heading to searcy first, I might see if I could get my Coosa tied in the boat somehow? Hopefully we'll have enough water tho.. Interesting thought however! Got my boat cleaned up, bearings checked, tires aired up, moter runs good after my fuel pump issue, constructed a drag chain, new line on the reels, fish cooker loaded, mess of catfish filleted and ready.....i'm ready, going to be fun! Got my name on a 25 plus inch brown, I can feel it.... There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
gotmuddy Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 Who is fishing tomorrow? And more importantly who has a empty spot in a boat? I'm all for fishing upstream. I would love to get into some good jerkbait water everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
grizwilson Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 I have one customer to make sure is taken care of tomorrow, if done I will be off and down Friday morning.... Hope hope hope!Getting pumped, boat hooked, truck gassed, clothes packed. Whooo Whooo!
