I am good with either the 14th or 21st out of Big M or Eagle Rock. I can also help with anything you need done Quill, just PM me and let me know. This will be a great opportunity to meet other members and have some fun fishing.

As others have mentioned, someone will have a conflict no matter the date. That being said, Joe Bass has a tournament on the 14th that I'll be fishing. I believe there are a few members that also fish Joe Bass.

No matter the date, thanks for facilitating this.

Eagle Rock on the 14th. Yes! Set it up. I will fish and cook. I will not promise I will catch, but I will enjoy trying.

OK, great, looks like we have enough to make a tourney on the 14th of March.

I'll get the permit request for the Regatta sent in this week.

So March 14th, Eagle Rock COE launch, 7 AM to 2 PM, and feel free to stay afterwards and meet some fine OAF folks. Heck, even if you don't fish the tourney, you can drop by and meet fellow OAFer's.

We do need to get an estimate of how many folks are going to fish, so please continue to indicate here if you plan to attend. We may have a sponsor who may give out a prize to the winner and door prizes to entrants. Not making any commitments on this part yet, but someone has expressed a desire to do so.

I'll start another thread this weekend with an entrant list, and re-list the short list of rules.

Right now, the weigh in tool will be my Boga grip, if anyone has a better weigh in device, let me know. My grip is accurate, but it is in 1/4 oz increments, which is probably good enough, but you never know we could have 2 big bass that are close in weight.

Trying to decide on the best way to conduct the weigh-in, could do it at the courtesy dock - or wait until people get there boats on trailer and weight them in the parking lot. I would like to minimize handling time, but yet give everyone the opportunity to eyeball the big bass.

Doesn't look like there's enough interest for a walleye division, so we'll just go with big bass. Based on time of year and location, I bet there will be some incidental walleye catches.

I say put the boats on the trailer. The fish will be in the live well all day anyway so another 30 minutes won't hurt. Also if there was a close call on the bogas a culling beam will work.
