Costa prescription sunglasses cannot be returned directly to Costa for repair.

Mine are prescriptions. And the dealer didn't answer emails or calls. So I'm stuck.

That sucks. I wonder if you called Costa if maybe they could direct you to another Ozarks-area dealer who could help with your issues.

I've had similar great service with my Kahuna's from MJ and have always heard good stuff about Costa; they are both great products. Sunglasses are as important to me as my favorites rod and reel combos. Once again, you get what you pay for...

I've got two pairs but cannot remember the models. I do know I finally had to buy the second pair with the amber or brown lenses so I could read the graphs without turning my head. Same with gps in car. Is it just me?

Not just you, Tanderson. I use the amber lenses all the time. The older I get, the less I seem to be able to see much of anything with the gray lenses. The lenses in both pairs of the Costas I just got back are the green-mirror 400 series (not the super high-dollar 580s). For my eyes, the tint is just perfect for either sunny or cloudy weather, although if it's dark cloudy I usually only wear them for running the boat.

I have Oakley's with the amber tint that are "Angler Specific" and love them. I've always been an Oakley guy though.

I have a tricky prescription. Ray Bans are the only ones I can find that can do it. Might have to check out the Costas.

Certainly nothing wrong with Oakleys, especially since they purposefully got into the fishing market with the Angler Specific series. I would bet they have pretty darn good customer service, too. Can't recall ever hearing anything negative about them and they have a really big market share among golfers.

Denny, I bet you could get them to make you some yellow nylon frames to match your Skeet sticks and yeller shoes. If not, you could get some white frames and douse em in chartreuse Dip'n Dye. Just don't use any of that JJ's Magic dye. Even that hot rod Phoenix won't be able to outrun the garlic smell. :XD:
