KCRIVERRAT Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Saltwater or freshwater. They are all precious memories we as fisherman will never forget! Here's mine... a Short-Nosed Spearfish caught off the Kona coast on the Big Island. Cheapest and best fishing in all of Hawaii. Caught him on a walk-the-dog I carved and painted myself. Told the Captain to run 30 knots. Buzz, Daryk Campbell Sr and Justin Spencer 3 HUMAN RELATIONS MANAGER @ OZARK FISHING EXPEDITIONS

Terrierman Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Biggest fish I ever caught was an 85 lb. blue out of the Missouri River. Will try to find a picture to scan and post. Caught a shark about that same size off Myrtle Beach one time. The shark pulled a LOT harder then the blue. Chief Grey Bear and Buzz 2
J-Doc Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 80lb class tarpon last summer with Captain Ozzie Lessenger. Dude knows the area better than the back of his hand (Sanibel/Captiva) Want to go back for another one. Maybe 120-150 next time. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
Chief Grey Bear Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 That is really a great pic! The low angle of the sun and the long shadows and calm seas just puts a super relaxing feel to it. I would have loved to have been there at that moment to share a beer in your victory of that nice fish! Smalliebigs Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 I am trying to find my biggest cat pic.....it was a plump Blue cat that maxed out my scale which went to 50 lbs. I was probably in the 70 to 80 range but, I'm having a hard time finding the pic on this computer. so I will go with my biggest bass.....caught when everyone else in the boat was crappie fishing. I saw some bass chasing fish so I put on a Buzzbait which sucked in that water but, it produced......my uncle's expression in the background is priceless.....he doesn't like anyone to catch bigger fish than him when your in a boat with him......hahahahaha.....crazy old f*ck
Daryk Campbell Sr Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 This is the biggest fish Photo I have, I have caught carp that were larger, but no proof. Haris122 Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 I'm in the same boat. I'm pretty sure I've caught one or two fish that were at least longer if not heavier before, but as far as ones I actually have a reference of some sort, I think this Blue Cat would be the best one so far. Not a huge blue cat, but at least a bit over 2 feet and the way it took me for a ride, I thought it was even bigger, that's for sure. Buzz 1
Lancer09 Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Ill have to take a picture of the picture. I was probably 14. Down off the coast of Tampa i snagged on the bottom. Except it was a nurse shark. She was about 9 feet long tip to tail and 150 pounds or so and pulled straight down the entire time. we were in somewhere from 180-220 feet. when the guide cut the line at the hook the 8 ounce egg sinker shot straight up and back down on top of his head.
