A good garlic slaw on a Carolina style pulled pork sandwich is delicious :goodjob:. Got my mouth watering now just thinking about one.

Love me some slaw just not on my sandwich.

What you see is horseradish coleslaw, good on or off sandwiches.

The sauce is, in fact, a modified Carolina mustard based sauce. Hard cider, mustard, vinegar, maple syrup, tomato paste, chili powder, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, and sriracha.

I gotta admit I'm not really open to too many crazy ideas when it comes to BBQ. I like it right down the middle -- tender meat, smoky flavor, seasoned and sauced just right.

One of the most popular places here in KC -- Joe's Kansas City BBQ -- is famous for their Z-Man sandwich which is brisket, provolone and an onion ring on a bun. Just not interested! I like their ribs and brisket so that's what I get.

I felt the same way about Cole slaw on a BBQ sandwich -- until I tried it. Love it on pulled pork.

Still not doing a Z-Man though.
