EA270140-0FF4-46D8-A7A7-CA40A6556193.jpegA little early but had a friend over the other night for StPatty's celebration. Corned goose along with the usual cabbage,potatoes.., and carrots.

This thread needs to hear more about the whole corned goose affair.  As in from the hunt until the dishes were done.  That seriously looks and sounds incredible.  And wow, what a plate.  Very nice presentation sir.

Mine said "retried" not "retired".   Nice try buddy.  LOL 🤣

Is having retried beans like putting spoiled milk back in the Frifge hoping it will get fresh again🤣?

What worries me is retried sounds like they will be eaten a second time! Think the retired ones would be a better option.

Duck fried rice (Mallard) and hot and sour soup. Cooking DYI is the best.

Was going to fish today but 15 degrees and 25 mph wind when I woke up. So instead I fried some things. Buttermilk fried pheasant, walleye and crappie and a few pieces of walleye in a beer batter. I'm not much for a traditional Redcoat fish and chips, but this stuff was excellent. It was easily my favorite of the day. Now to replenish once it warms up...

Once every year or two I get a yen for battered fish.

Then I think about the clean up.
