They’ve got big orange arrows and signage on the floor at our store. Dude just wasn’t paying attention.

I’m not paying attention to them either. If I need a few things I’m not playing your games that make me spend more time in the store. I do give people their space though. No need to cause an old guy a heart attack because I refuse to play the maze game.

We came up with a strategy that’s pretty slick. It allows you to show respect for the other less self-centered people in the store and still get what you want pretty quick.

Say you need something on aisle 5 but it’s going the wrong way. What you do is go down aisle 4 (or 6, if you overshoot 4 and don’t want to backtrack), then turn at the end and enter aisle 5 going the right way. Works great! 😁😁

So, if I only need things in aisles 5,7 and 9, I have to contaminate 4,6 and 8 with my good looks? 😀

My item is 10 foot down isle 5. I try to go down isle 4 but there is a lady with 3 kids down there arguing about which cereal they get so I head down to isle 6 that is partially blocked by stickers and someone that must read every label. So I’ll just go 10 feet down 5 and clear the building for the rest of you guys that have nothing better to do. Some of us are still very busy, actually some of us are busier than what we were before this started. You know you can always do pickup and you don’t have to go in there at all.

Spent some time on YouTube this week looking for ideas to cook stuff I haven't made yet. Today is the day. I plan to cook a boneless leg of lamb in the oven. I will also make a scalloped potato dish with onions, sweet peppers, Cavenders seasoning, and a stick of butter. On the smoker I plan to make smoked carmelized onions in an iron skillet, smoked slowly at 225 degrees. Last but not least I will smoke a cabbage with a cored out center layered with garlic, butter, and seasonings, and some beer or chicken broth. The top of the cabbage  will be layered with bacon. I plan to  wrap in foil with a vented top and smoke for 2 hours at 225 degrees. Wish me luck.

Was very tasty.

I haven't been in our grocery store since the Ides of March.  Totally cool.  I have a tuck with camper shell and side windows that open up.  Shelf over half the bed.  Pull in the parking lot, open the driver side window, go to the pick up door, give the name and they load everything in the back and close the window.  Then I go back home.
