Gavin
Did not get to the hummus since my daughter invited 8-10 of her friends over to swim & camp in the back yard last night. Some of her friends don’t eat meat, so I went with some cream sauce pasta, cheese garlic bread, and some cuc/mayer salad. We finally ran the out around 1 today, Dropped one of up on Olive, then the Asian Markets. Snapper dinners do not suck! nomolites, Terrierman, ness and 4 others

I hope it works well for you. Let us know. I am old school. I use a French rolling pin on cling film covered meat It came in today. Lots of parts to this unit. It seems cheaply made. Assembly doesn't bother me, but the idea of disassembling each time I use it for cleaning defeats my desire of time saving. I did not assemble it, repackaged it and it will be returned. I will try your idea, seems simple enough, as well as quieter. Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. Put a layer of cling film on your chopping mat/block.Use you hands to sprinkle a little water on it. Put your meat on the cling film and water sprinkle it. Put another layer of cling film on. Use the pin to beat the meat into a thin and even slab. https://shop.kingarthurbaking.com/items/french-rolling-pin?srsltid=AfmBOooT3H8lPQZV3T9VMyPmhNZR_Luc4f5xl9ppGA796gnJ2Jw6vl0k If the meat needs piercing like a chicken fried steak, use a jaccard. https://www.amazon.com/Jaccard-200348T-48-Blade-Tenderizer-Inches/dp/B08DYBCT89/ref=asc_df_B08DYBCT89/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693768586739&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14140488001209198939&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9026564&hvtargid=pla-996115172050&mcid=b65786b8fc5b3879b86064e10cc92a0c&th=1 ness

Terrierman
Bratwurst boiling in beer, 1/4 cabbage steaming with salt, pepper and butter. And the pasta salad I made this afternoon. I'll boil the beer down to near syrup and then add some Koops Stone Ground Mustard just as I take the brats out.
