Johnsfolly Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago As promised I made the stocker rainbow. I planned on following a recipe but soon decided to wing it😉. I scored the skin along each side of the fish. I rubbed in cracked pepper and Asian five spice. I added sliced lemongrass and minced ginger and garlic into the cavity. I cooked the fish on med high heat in some olive oil. Once I turned the fish I added sliced serrano chili, lemongrass, chili paste, ginger and garlic and a little more oil. When the fish was nearly done I added fish sauce, soy sauce and a drizzle of sesame oil. Served it with sauted broccoli, snow peas and mushrooms. rps and BilletHead 2

Variations of flavor depending on where you get you catch your fish. Pellet fed or pink to orange fish feeding in the wild. Other than fried smoked trout works. @gotmuddy smoked and pressure canned some trout that was good right out of the jar and better when he made a dip out of it. I know those fish came out of the white river where that fish food taste is going out of those trout as they revert to nature provided food. You did good @Johnsfolly it looks good to me. And remember it's not cooking it right it's not cooking it wrong, if you cook the most expensive cut of meat wrong, you can buy you can destroy it. ness 1 "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!"
