I'm good with that though if it means I get to hang out with you guys a bit longer. Look at my post on the bottom of page 208. :-)

Just because you or your doctor or your significant other has put you on salad status does not mean you cannot drink deep at life's banquet. Or enjoy the things you like best. One of my salads features steak.

I've been working on losing weight due to some bad numbers from the doc. Kinda got me to thinking about stuff and I'm working on making permanent changes. One of the unexpected things is that bad-for-you food kinda loses its appeal when you go without it for a while. The tummy seems to adjust. So, I'm no expert, but things do seem to get a little easier. Johnsfolly 1 John
Flysmallie Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Well I'm new to the game but it's not bad. I'm like a woman I like to complain about things for no valid reason. I've ate well today and just had a 4 mile stroll through the neighborhood. My four legged girlfriend Lilly was tired when we got back. ness 1
Gavin Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Pretty good last night. Two nice ribeyes, morels, salad, and perfectly baked potatoes. Bottle of Caymus to go with. The Caymus was a nice treat, love that wine. Everything spot on but nothing blockbuster. Kids and wifey picked the morels. Bunch of fun with the girls. Mushroom hunting was done for them in 20 minutes, but both found one. Momma got the shrooms while girls played in the woods for 3hrs. BilletHead 1

I've got a recipe that calls for a pan of water below the bread dough. John
