MOPanfisher Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Awesome, if we are going "lame" tonight I humbly submit my supper. Leftover hotdogs, a can of Hormel chili (no beans) some bagged shredded cheese, and a quick diced yellow onion. All warmed up in the microwave. All eaten while sitting in my recliner, and licking iy off my shirt when chunks fall off. Chief Grey Bear and ness 2
rps Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 It was Friday, after all. BilletHead and ness 2

Wife made the sauce and she and my daughter assembled the dish. Hard for me to not over eat. I love lasagna but hate going though the laborious steps and long baking time. I want to eat it now!! Then I saw something on the big wide web that forever changed the way I prepare it. And it's so simple it was like how did I not think of this! In pot, bring water to a boil for your noodles. Break noodle into 1/3's. Boil. In another pot, brown your meat and drain. Add your sauce of choice and cheeses and such. For me, I really like the basic cottage cheese and mozzarella. Mix well and then add cooked noodles. Done. Eat. Enjoy. It tastes exactly like you prepared and baked the traditional way. Only took less than half the time. tho1mas, BilletHead and Johnsfolly 3 Chief Grey Bear Living is dangerous to your health Owner Ozark Fishing Expeditions Co-Owner, Chief Executive Product Development Team Jerm Werm Executive Pro Staff Team Agnew Executive Pro Staff Paul Dallas Productions Executive Pro Staff Team Heddon, River Division Chief Primary Consultant Missouri Smallmouth Alliance Executive Vice President Ronnie Moore Outdoors

It was just like your lasagna recipe. All the items in a traditional stuffed cabbage just cooked in a single pot without having to pre-cook the cabbage and roll them. As you said tasted just like our normal stuffed cabbages, but in much less time. Chief Grey Bear 1
MOPanfisher Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 Mmm stuffed cabbage. Chief I have an even easier lasagna recepie. First it involves convincing the wife to make her traditional lasagna. Then go fishing, hunting, whatever. Come back just as it comes out of the oven. Timing is evwrything. I love reheated lasagna for breakfast. tho1mas, BilletHead, Chief Grey Bear and 1 other 4

Heat. Let cool. Eat. Wow! That maybe more steps than my way! LOL!!
