Needed something...gave it a dusting of cayenne and that did the trick. Good ol' cayenne. A little in moderation makes a big difference.

I would say they are just croissants, but trust me, the French lady that made these needs to be in the food hall of fame.

A good croissant or Pain au chicolat is heaven.

They are oysters. They are locally grown and available through farmers markets and the locally owned grocery store..

I used about a pound and a half of grass fed beef, a large onion, three cloves of garlic, 32 ounces of no salt beef stock, flour and olive oil, sun dried tomato paste, salt and pepper, and patience to make a stew of the meat and mushrooms. I cooked penne in the stew to al dente. I used sour cream, sriracha, and parsley as the fancy finish.

Late summer lunch.  Stayed home to take care of my mom, so decided it was a good day to test RPS fish burger recipe.  Or at least a very close approximation. I should have used more fish, as the egg and bread crumBS held it all together nucely, but wasn't enough fish in it.  However it had a wonderful crust, and was pretty darn good.  Sinus issues make my taste buds suspect but mom said it was good too.  Stopped on the way out to get the mail and picked a couple cukes, then went back for a handfull of tiny tomatoes.  Not bad for a late summer lunch at all.

If you have the fish to egg and crumb ratio right, the burger barely holds together, which is why I chill it to firm it up before I cook it. Another key is NOT to move it around in the skillet and only flip once.

               A couple of dishes,

First yesterday I had my protein at noon with leftovers of the Rabbit in mustard sauce. So for the Evening meal it was all veggies. Grilled yellow squash, onions, mild banana peppers and jalapenos,

A big bowl of steaming veggies finished off with a splash of balsamic vinegar,

So after a long day of yard work we worked up a Southwestern Corn Quiche,

Some of the goodies in there was cheese, corn, onion, poblano peppers and Mexican oregano from our garden.

The bowl of veggies look good, can't quite come to terms with quiche, although everything in it sounds good.
