I would take panda express over cashew chicken.  I just am not a fan of cashew chicken.

There's more to it than just cashew chicken. There are some real asians here making some kickass food. PE isn't one of those places.

One of these days when I'm down there I want you to steer me to some of the Springfield Cashew Chicken. Love the regional twists on things. I'll reciprocate with a visit to my favorite Chinese joint here.

Just one???

My favorite for cashew is in Ozark.

Our favorite here in Columbia has both authentic chinese cuisine and some kicked up American chinese food. The owners also have an Asian market. They. Owned yhe market for many years and started the restaurant because they felt that there wasn't good authentic chinese food in town. Between the restaurant and market we can satisfy most of our cravings for Asian food.  We also have three decent sushi places and a decent Thai place  as well☺!

Fully understand that, I just would take generic asian fast food over the specific Cashew Chicken every time.

I rarely eat cashew. Usually go for general, hot and spicy, or sesame. Same chicken just different sauce.

Pork loin roast tonight with a salsa verde (parsley, anchovy, capers, garlic, olive oil, vinegar, Parmesan) probably based on the ancient Roman garum. On the side a panzanella with grapes as well as tomato. Good stuff coming up.

Generals chicken, orange chicken, lemon chicken, like them all, just don't like the cashew as cashew sauce.  Tonight I settled for bacon, lettuce, tomato and red onion slice sammich, and checking the rain gauge to see almost 2 inches of rain!!

Tonight my Betterhalf made a pasta primavera. She used cooked sliced onions, carrots, green peas, and artichoke hearts. Also cooked with garlic and added parmesan cheese and served over pasta.
