Mmmm. Steak cooked all day to a nice 200 degrees internal 😄

Kind of like you were saying about a community hot tub?

Chief it is pretty hard to control a crock pots heat and the immersion cooker has a propeller type deal that keeps the water circulating around what you are cooking. Very precise gadget.

Yes very precise. I've checked mine with 3 different thermometers. What you dial in on the display is what you get. Plus you can bolt it to the side of any small container. My wife used in a small cooler the other day..

Heated up the Sous Vide bath to 129 degrees. Vac sealed four breast halves in individual bags with a bit of wild garlic and thyme from the garden. Cooked for 1.5 hours. Fired up propane burner on back porch. Put the meat in the cast iron skillet. Skin side first, then opposite side, then a kiss of heat on the fat side of each breast half,

Made a run to the Shell Knob Harter House today. I have a two bone pork loin roast steeping in a brine of salt water and industrial strength maple syrup (Grade B). Looking forward to tomorrow.

Just noticed this. Love the grade b syrup!!
