Green chili cheese burger on a brioche bun.

The brioche kinda deflated and sweated oil when I toasted it. What gives?

Brioche has an extremely high content of eggs and butter. I found it one of the most difficult things to do in patisserie classes.  Of course it was a required item on the final exam. Perhaps the batch your bun came from did not quite "blend" and the butter steamed out?

Just hope that this doesn't start a "blue pill" conversation .

 Good. Just good.

FTFY😄

By the way, I’ve been doing some polling and it’s about 2/3 like pepper on maters and 1/3 on cantaloupe.

Eating off the land tonight.  Fresh vine ripened tomato (can't buy that flavor at the store), cottage cheese I made myself (no I didnt), squash I picked myself (well I planted and grew them but wife actually picked them), and seared venison backstrap from a deer I killed (no I didn't, but my wife did).  Pretty darn good, but the more I think about it it appears I am living off of my wife.  Edited to include the dessert.  Some sort of a red velvet cheesecake and a ooey gooey chocolate thing.  Both good.

Atta boy for controlling some of what you put in your pie hole whether you grow it or shoot it. Kudos to your wife for being in control of you :) ,

In further polling at the barber shop today:

Tomatoes & cottage cheese: 1 salt only, 1pepper only, 1 won’t eat cottage cheese, 2 abstentions.

Cantaloupe:  3 salt only, 2 won’t eat cantaloupe.
