The variety of things here is great. And, you don’t have to post exotic or gourmet recipes to make a contribution. I’m not gonna do everything I read on here, but it widens the horizons for sure.

If I posted all the stuff I make..... you would laugh me out of the room.  For example:  I boiled two hot dogs last night and the gourmet aspect was spicy mustard and homemade tomato relish.  Shut up.  I was hungry.

Roto has been rooted...The prep wasn't fun, but not horrible. Crystal Light lemonade mix was allowed and made it palatable...just slightly salty.  The biggest discomfort was a lack of sleep.  Watched the ball game, then woke up at 4:30 for the second round.. The procedure is a breeze...They wheel  you in, then you wake up back were you started. Kinda like a date with Bill Cosby I guess. Broke my fast with a Salmon BLT Half & Half and crashed until 4pm. Have my eyes on some leftover pasta...Just might whip up some Pasta Carbonara.

Yep, you are pretty much afraid if not unable to sleep during the "purge".

This thread covers filling your belly/system and now cleansing it.  Awesome.

I still cannot believe you did not take any squirrel home with you. Must be a Johnson County Kansas thing :) ,

Oh yeah, try and make like I turned down squirrel. Fact is ... you pulled back on that offer before I could even say no, so that’s on you. 😄

No shame in that. Simple appeals to me about 90% of the time.

Sounds good to me Rick. What are you thinking we eat the days when we are posting 😁.

Heck I think it was more like you were afraid they would come back to life and steal your nuts. 🐿️🐿️

A couple of nights ago, we made an alfredo with the Hen and chicken mushrooms that we found recently.

Followed a easy online recipe to make the alfredo sauce. Lot's of heart stopping ingredients, cream cheese, heavy cream, parmesan cheese, Italian spices, minced garlic. served with sauted onion, and hen and chicken mushrooms over fettucine noodles. My Betterhalf made the alfredo while I cooked the onions and mushrooms.

Yesterday Livie and my Betterhalf made a pumpkin cheesecake using pumpkin that we roasted in MO last October. Now I think that we need to eat salad for a week or so.
