My grandmother's Date Nut Pudding. This has been made in my family every Christmas for at least 60 years, and likely many more. Great-grandparents were from Ireland, but not sure on the recipe source. Not like American pudding obviously -- but a very moist cake with equal parts flour, sugar, chopped dates and nuts plus an egg and some butter. Sauce is sugar, butter and cream. A little stir fry Did a ho-made chicken soup yesterday. Picture will follow if I remember tonight. Wow! That looks great @ness! John

Mitch f Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 Sous vide is a very touchy subject. It’s just about maintaining a constant temperature. I can do that with a convection oven!! OH BTW, did I mention I have one! 😂 BilletHead and Johnsfolly 2 "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor

Terrierman Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 I'm on fire tonight. A package of Hebrew National hot dogs, a can of Libby's kraut and two honey crisp apples. About a cup of beer, put the lid on and then in the oven at 350 for maybe 45 minutes or so to become heavenly delicious. So good with some mashed potatoes and spicy brown mustard. ness and rps 2
