We used this crock to make a simple sauerkraut recipe with caraway seeds. Fermented the cabbage for about a week and it was done. Pretty tasty. With good sauerkraut, just needed to find some dishes to use it. Love hotdogs with kraut. Picked up some pretzel rolls and caramelized some sweet onions to go with the dog. Spicy brown mustard finished the dog! Served with a side salad. (still having issue with phone camera - sorry). Nice! I need to make some kraut. Scallops, roasted butternut squash and some haricot verts d’Giante 😄 Scallops front and center fer ya @Mitch f 😄 Johnsfolly and Mitch f 2 John

To start with the scallops look amazing. I bought an EZ fermenter the other day and haven’t used it yet. Can’t wait to start the Kraut, Kimchee, and pickles @Johnsfolly ness and Johnsfolly 1 1 "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor

Have made kraut a couple times and pickles once. Pickles were really good, kraut was pretty good but not great. Need to dig that out. I love pickled stuff. Kimchi would be interesting. Johnsfolly Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 @Mitch f We tried kimchee, but could not get the right Asian ingredients for the spices. Did not come out well. We need to find a decent Asian market here in Maryland. Once we do will try the kimchee again. Mitch f 1
