merc1997 Bo Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 I've been wanting to use under spins as well. Almost bought some last time I ordered at TW back during their Black Friday sale but I took them out of my cart at the last second when the good tackle angel on my shoulder for a split second trumped the evil devil angel on my other shoulder. I really want to get some of these: But at 8.99 a piece I'll pass. Anyone that can make what is in the above pic for an affordable price around 2-3 bucks (doesn't have to be painted or have eyes) I would be happy to purchase some off you. it has quite a bit of $$ just in blades and swivels, plus the labor of attaching all of it. maybe you need to make some up on your own, and see if you can break even for two bucks. just saying because i can look at that bait and see there is quite a bit of labor time involved besides the price of hardware. it is interesting though. not for sure how bad it might want to turn the blades to the top once you get to pulling it though. bo
dtrs5kprs Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Close to $2 worth of blades and swivels, before the hook is thrown in.

I just know that contraption of a bait isn't going to get my $ for 8.99. Most I would pay for that reconfigured upside down spinnerbait is about $3.
willyfish Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Fellas before you all go crazy spending $ on fish heads and Rapalas, remember that the little Ned that's tried and true costs less than a buck probably

Feathers and Fins Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 If I had to guess I would say cost on that bait is about to produce is about 3.80, then add their profit say 1.60 about it has to be shipped say 0.35 per bait and then the retailer adds on their percentage 3.24 an there you have 8.99. Keep in mind the retailer does have to pay bills also so his profit off that bait is probably 1.30 if he is lucky. merc1997 Bo 1 https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856

Blades have become outrageously expensive due to the demand for metals. merc1997 Bo 1
WeekendWarrior Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Tackle warehouse pricing $4.79 to $5.29 is what I am seeing. I am also seeing back ordered for all.
