I looked today and I think I can make them for about $.60 each for the big ones, I can make the smaller road runners for about $.27 each. I usually make 500 to 1000 at a time in the winter when I do it.

Hmmm, I wonder how long 1000 road runner heads would last me.

You'd have to commit to a lot of Road Runner fishing to go through a 1,000 heads.

I did commit to fishing a lot of RR. I bought about 100 heads and tied about half of them up with chenile and maribou. It hurts a lot less when you lose one and I get to do custom colors, but somewhere along the way I haven't been throwing them as much.

I think I was fishing a lot more when I was working week on/ week off, but maybe not.

Hard to fish all the ways I want to fish given my current time constraints.
