Start selling more of your poisonous jigheads and you just might be able to afford one. want-!.png

It's the little feathered trebles that kill it for me. At a guess they are meant to look like a gill waving his fins back and forth. Probably works fine.

Yeah that is certainly a different feature with the trebles. But I just like everything about it. I like its profile size, natural look and it's versatility to be fished at different depths and with different retrieves. If nothing else it's a work of art!

Also the bait monkey got me last night. Picked up a Jackall Gantarel after fighting myself for about a week. They are flying off the shelves and the RT Gill color that I wanted is out of stock at TW until JULY 2nd! So I had to go to Ebay. I am such a sucker.

Talked to a friend who does Shimano's PR, and he said the Gantarel sold out at the Classic--to the tune of 300 of them, so you're not the only one who bit.

I did some surfing and came across glide baits--like a swimbait in appearance and size but fished differently. Supposedly, if worked properly, they will cause a bass to commit because they're not fished in a straight line. I'd like to see some open water (or above freezing temps) to test that out.

A friend in AZ has been telling me to look at gliders for months now. The new rage with the SB crowd I guess.

I have a hard time with those feathered trebs also. I guess a guy could swap them out. Have to see how it works for ab before making any decisions.

I sure hope the weather breaks soon before you guys go broke. :secret-laugh: Have a good weekend.

Couple inches on the ground from yesterday and it's snowing again today. But it looks like at the end of the week this cold weather pattern will finally break.

I hope the weather guessers are correct this time! The NWS just put a Winter Storm warning in for St. Louis area. 6+ inches. I might be far enough south that we just might get some sleet changing over to rain. Then Thunderstorms on Tuesday with a high near 60. The creeks may rise if all this holds true.

don't kiss that bait if you catch a big fish on it, you could get lead poisoning :nom-nom:

it looks like a real fish catcher, I have to try it

glad we have video demos now so we can actually see a bait in action before we buy or not
