Fish24/7 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I have a hard time with those feathered trebs also. I guess a guy could swap them out. Have to see how it works for ab before making any decisions. feathered trebles are your friends, they add to the realistic look and it helps hide the hooks some I plan on swapping out for a red feathered treble in the front and dye the rear one chartreuse try a small feather treble on the back of a susp. shad colored wart sometime

Threw them some last year, the 168 size. Liked them better than the BBZ1. Champ188 1

Champ188 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I will be on TR next weekend if I have to sled up there in a dang kayak. Alex Heitman and Quillback 2
Alex Heitman Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I'm down here right now and haven't made it out to fish yet. I thought there would be a break in the snow at some point but none yet. I would get out there now but clean up would take to long and I don't want the boat carpet to mildew after I leave and put the cover on. Bummer trip so far
Members flyrod17 Posted March 2, 2015 Members Posted March 2, 2015 I would have to worry about durability but if they are cheap enough and/or you can order the bodies in bulk, who cares. They would be really good in warm water, I don't think baitfish wiggle that much in cold water. Also don't know how fast you have to crank it to get that big wobble. Will pick some up and give a try. I'll report back to let you know if they worked for me..... "I'm Haunted by Water"
Ham Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 I'm more interested in the jig heads. I wonder what size hook? Can you buy the jig heads w/o the bodies? Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
