5bites Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 I'd say that is a pretty good one to end on! lol no doubt
fishingaddiction Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 That fish is about 6 lbs bigger than the best fish I caught Saturday in the OAF bass derby. Congrats on a nice looking fish and a new personal best! Are you going to have a replica made? Born to Fish. Forced to Work.
bs1827 Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Incredible fish! I love hearing about guys that are dedicated to throwing this big swimbaits, especially on some of our Ozark lakes.
Fish24/7 Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 just re-spooled my swimbait reels w/ fresh line and sharpened the hooks on all of them last week because I had a feeling it was getting close to that time of year again congrats on the pb Richy !
dtrs5kprs Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Nice work. That S Waver is a darn good bait, and you can actually afford to buy a few of them. Will have to give the 200 a look. Mine are all 168's.
huntest Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Richey. Were you working around pole timber or cedars?
motoman Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Fantastic job there richy! Way to stick with the big swimbait..........I've caught them here and there on The Rock on a larger swimbait; but man-o-man.........I have an attention span like a 5th grader, and that sure makes it tough throwing baits like that, and really committing to them:-( - If you don't mind me asking; how long had you been throwing the big swimbaits that day?
abkeenan Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Nice work. That S Waver is a darn good bait, and you can actually afford to buy a few of them. Will have to give the 200 a look. Mine are all 168's. The S Waver 200's went up $10+ bucks this year. The 168's and 120's didn't go up in price. Not sure why that is but I would have to think because of it's overwhelming popularity and it's still the most affordable glide bait even with the increase in price.
