Make sure you go into Beardsley and catch all of Brett's pet fish. Seriously, it is hard to beat that creek from that location.

How dare you! If I see an extra hook hole in Sally, Jim, Charlie, Rusty, Pam, Jack, Sarah, Slim, Chunk, Ruben, Christine, Rachel or Giant Gina's mouth I swear Dave. Next time I'm down I won't even go to the house and drive straight to Schooner and troll 5 rods loaded with 5 arm A-Rig loaded with Ned Rigs and just dredge that creek dry. You'll have to motor west and make a feeble attempt catch one of the 5 fish still left in Aunt's Creek.

I stayed at Big Cedar last April. I don't know Table Rock at all. I was able to catch one fish and it was on a rattle trap. Black and purple if i remember correctly. I was bank fishing off of a public dock behind the Bent Hook Marina. The report is on this site. Good luck to you,the gentleman who works at the marina is one nice guy. He really made me feel welcome. I third, fourth, or fifth what others have said about dtskprs, AKA Dave. I got my Ned heads in just a couple of days. Excellent price, and I caught a fish on it at the One Bass Tournament. PB&J was my zinkers bait.

ned rig, shakey head, wobble head with a beaver style bait or my go to is a craw tube, jerk bait, jig and last but not least a wiggle wart.BPS has some new exclusive wiggle wart patterns designed by a local custom painter who frequents this forum and is a legend in his own right.

All Great advice!!! If I was a betting man, the NED and the smoke grub will be the deal. The best advice I can give is to hire a Guide for a day and you won't be disappointed. Money very well spent. I have fished the Rock for over 40 years and it still humbles me at times. Plan on fishing from dawn to 10 A.M. for the best bite. These fish can be tough when the sun gets up.

dave does have the best NED heads, but if you don't have a chance to get any before you make it down, BPS has shroom heads, that will work, they do have a collar on them, but it is soft, you can take a pair of needlenose and twist off the collar.

You guys have given me a ton to digest. I did buy some zinkers today and ordered some mushroom head jigs. My head is spinning. If I could get a half day guide for 150 I would do it. It is a hard sell to the wife. I can sell another half day boat rental easy. The worst part about renting is that I am an early morning and night guy. I am always on the water before daylight. I don't thinkb i can get the boat til 8. I will be sitting on the dock waiting for them with all my gear. Borrowing a big Tule so I can bring 8-10 rods, tackle, etc... without it the wife was going to have to go naked...

I dont mind slowing down throwing plastic some but I would prefer to spend some of the time power fishing. I would love to throw a crank bait, spinner bait and jerk bait the whole time but I know that is not going to happen. Weather and water temp will dictate much of what I am doing. I will take every tip I can get.

Thanks again

Kazoo, Last year when I was on "Property" I was able to rent the boats before the Marina opened (prior to the public). You may call them if you are renting from the Bent Hook Marina. I don't remember the times and exactly the terms. Please leave a report of your trip, good, bad or ugly.
