Al Agnew Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 For comedy, I'd put Young Frankenstein first, Monty Python and the Holy Grail second, Blazing Saddles a distant third. War movies...Saving Private Ryan was so good I DON'T want to see it again. On the lighter side, Kelly's Heros, and MASH. Sci-fi...I admit it, I'm a trekkie, and The Wrath of Khan is my favorite. Also really liked Independence Day. Favorite old black and white movie...Arsenic and Old Lace. Western? Too many I like to choose from.
ness Posted March 30, 2015 Author Posted March 30, 2015 Comedy and war, I'm right there with you, except I'll watch SPR every time it's on. I'm not a Sci-Fi guy. John
Smalls21 Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 American sniper Tombstone Desperado The Green Mile Top Gun
BATCAB27 Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Some great movies you guy have listed! Too hard for me to rattle of a top 5, but I will stop and watch pretty much any Kevin Costner sports movie at any time. (bull durham, field of dreams, tin cup) Want to go see the new one where he's a track coach, heard its good... David Unnerstall 1
jerry241 Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 I think yall are forgetting some of the finest films ever made Airplane History of the world And the mini bike scene in dumb and dumber Oh and convoy
Quillback Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Airplane is hilarious, and a couple of the Naked Gun movies. The same guys that made those also made Top Secret which is a hoot. They also made that Top Gun parody with Charlie Sheen, that's another one that is god for some laughs.
ness Posted March 31, 2015 Author Posted March 31, 2015 Naked Guns are great! 'Nothing to see here!' I also loved the TV show that preceded them -- Police Squad. John
