Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted April 7, 2015 Root Admin Posted April 7, 2015 Phil needs to bring more stickers to NWA next time he is over here also. I was there yesterday- dropping my son and fam at the airport. I thought about dropping by but we wanted to get back home after a busy weekend of kids. Send me your address - I'll mail you a bunch.
jdmidwest Posted April 7, 2015 Author Posted April 7, 2015 Dang... I had to look. I didn't remember seeing that before- and I didn't remember changing any "ranks" to that name. BUT I looked and- if you have more than 3000 posts, your rank changes to it. I set that up years ago, giving members different ranks, changing with the number of posts. The rank names are all the fishes of Missouri. Random. I have been going back and changing what the forum calls titles. Members who joined, and are still active, back in 2005 and early 2006 I've changed to OAF Charter Members. It's a work in progress. So the forum started in 2005. Is anyone planning a big 10 year party? What is the magic day the forum was started? "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
Kayser Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Probably October 25, Phil's join date. WARNING!! Comments to be interpreted at own risk. Time spent fishing is never wasted.
fishinwrench Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 I remember being here a couple years before it says I joined. Wasn't there a crash or something, and we all had to re-register ? Or maybe that was Riversmallies.com

ness Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 This thing is rigged. I've got more than 3,000 posts and I had to promote myself. And I've never had a post promoted to an article. How the epic 'John Marzetti' post got overlooked is simply beyond comprehension. I guess you get what you pay for! BilletHead 1 John
Flysmallie Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 I had to promote myself. King Ness: I am your king. Woman: Well, I didn't vote for you. King Ness: You don't vote for kings. Woman: Well how'd you become king then? [Angelic music plays... ] King Ness: The Lady of the Lake, her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the water, signifying by divine providence that I, Arthur, was to carry Excalibur. THAT is why I am your king. Dennis: [interrupting] Listen, strange women lyin' in ponds distributin' swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony. BilletHead, Terrierman, David Unnerstall and 1 other 4 Â Â

That right there is the funniest line of one of the funniest parts of one of the funniest movies of all time. Flysmallie and BilletHead 2 John
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted April 8, 2015 Root Admin Posted April 8, 2015 Yea- that top "title" you can edit. Anyone can edit their own. Wait a minute.... I wonder if I can change the settings where everyone can edit each other's titles!? That would produce some drama! ness, Flysmallie and gramps50 3
