Remember that the northerns and walleye attack the decoys when you look away, go outside to pee,etc.  Pretty, expensive ones get trashed every time.  I have caught pike with fancy plastic decoys devoured to the hooks..   A piece of cedar with a tail of deer hair works just as well.

I couldn't  agree more....Britt and I have had several  conversations and even though we disagree what seems  like on everything in the end it seems like we are on the same page  and agree....hahahaha  hard to explain but it's true I know he's a temendous outdoosman, we share the same passion of the rivers....we both have opinions and like to stand by those And I respect that
