Daryk Campbell Sr Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 OK, so I have wondered for a long time what MFU is. I have learned the members, and really think well of you guys. Is (Was) it a group of guys who developed a club on here? Did you guys have annual fishing trips? Come on, what gives? I know "Curiosity killed the cat", and just maybe, you would have to kill me if you told me. But I cannot sit back and wonder anymore. Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. Flysmallie Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 It is a group of guys that met on OAF and as sort of a joke came up with MFU. It stand for Missouri Fish Unit. It was not to take anything away from OAF or to make anyone here feel inferior. It's just a group of guys that have grown to be great friends and yes there are trips. Usually 3 or 4 a year that are planned and many other trips. I rarely fish with anyone that is not in the group. Not on purpose really, that's just the way it works out. I think we get a bad rap from some but we are just normal guys doing normal guy things. The chances of us raping and pillaging your town are fairly slim. Ham, patfish and Daryk Campbell Sr 3
Chief Grey Bear Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 I dislike you guys cause you are anti Ned. Flysmallie Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Well look how many bass are being killed with the Ned. We can't accept that being a prestigious organization like we are. Daryk Campbell Sr and Chief Grey Bear 2
BilletHead Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Not only do they ban the Ned but I found out from a reliable source they have regular meetings on how to hold them (fish) I think. fishinwrench Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 No No, The meetings are about the proper holding down of goats. We don't care how you hold your fish. Daryk Campbell Sr and J-Doc 2
Flysmallie Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 They are easier to hold if you club them first. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
BilletHead Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Oh then it wasn't about fish. That was my first guess. So do you hold the goats for each other? Is there a fly rod in the photo or is the goat not on the ground? Greasy B Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 I always thought the best way to hold a goat was to wear hip waders and slip the hind legs down in them. Daryk Campbell Sr Posted April 29, 2015 Author Posted April 29, 2015 Wow!! I guess as they say "Ignorance is Bliss". LMAO at some of these replies. This one went quickly down the wrong path. Or am I misreading/misunderstanding some of this. Yea, I am the one who asked.... Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction.
