ScottK
I never met or talked to Wayne either, but he sure contributed a lot of knowledge and experience here. RIP Sir.
cnr
Funny how I'm sad at the passing of a guy I never met face-to-face, who I couldn't pick out of a line up, or who's voice I wouldn't recognize. Kinda makes me think I take too much stuff for granted. Well said Ness. This forum is like family. Sorry to hear of his passing. Thank you Phil for providing this forum for us, the people contributing here are a good group. Wayne's contributions will be missed. ness and BilletHead
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted May 9, 2015 Author Root Admin Share Posted May 9, 2015 Another member alerted me to the news. Searching his name, I only see who handled the funeral arrangements. I will follow up next week and see if I can get any other information. It would be nice if we can find out there's a memorial fund we could give to. Gavin
Sad news. Will miss his contributions to OA and other forums. Really nice guy. Fished with him on the Niangua once and many conversations over the years. He will be missed.
ozark trout fisher
I only knew him from his posts here, but he seemed like an awesome guy and a lot of fun to interact with. He surely will be missed.
ColdWaterFshr
Very sorry to hear this. Wayne seemed like a helluva nice guy. Never fished with him, but felt like I knew the guy from however many years we've all been posting on here, and even going back to the days of the Conservation Cafe. I'm sure the fish are always biting where he is at now. RIP, Wayne.
LittleRedFisherman
Hate to hear this. Wayne was one of the first ones to welcome me to the forum. He carried himself well here, seemed like a fine fella! There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
rps
We will all miss his posts. There a few others that once were active, but now are not. I just checked another one I always enjoyed, and he has not been active since last July.
