I'm a foam hopper guy. Not just trout though. I throw that sucker at anything willing to rise.

Last time I was at Roaring River I had a nice trout come up and take a bright orange thingamabobber, spit it out, circle around and take it again and this time completely out of sight. I don't think realistic is that important to them.
