Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted May 13, 2015 Author Root Admin Posted May 13, 2015 Jerkbaits - use as heavy of line as you want. Doesn't matter. You're working it so fast that they don't see it.
dtrs5kprs Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Thanks for passing the original message along Phil. Helps explain the current management of the pool at TR. Matches what we have all been seeing, in terms of flow/release, but had not seen it in writing before.

Terrierman Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Rick, No fish pics? I made three or four drifts and it was blowing me up the river so hard I gave up. Tried again on the rocks below point lookout, not as windy, but still too windy for me. So not only no fish pics, no fish. 1/8 oz white, 1/8 gray/white and 5" silver countdown Rapala = zip. Truth in advertising.
Ham Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Ouch! I would have been looking for creek mouths and eddy areas. I would feel VERY comfortable doule anchoring in a creek mouth out of direct flow. Terrierman 1 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted May 14, 2015 Author Root Admin Posted May 14, 2015 Just got in. The wind must have laid down a bit- more gusty which let us fish some. We made a few drifts and did fair on white jigs. Then they shut the gates down. Don't understand- TR is still above 917 feet. We did better after the water shut down. Some on white, some on brown/orange head jigs. Report coming....
