Im going to post a video, im going to bring in some big bass to prove a point. Ned rig is ok but I have yet to see it pull in quality bass time after time. I will fish with a war eagle slow rolled. I will be fishing early and late and releasing my fish. I wanna show the critics the quality of bass on Stockton. Ill post at 10:00pm this coming Sunday night. jtram and Sac River Jim 2
fishinwrench Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 I would totally jinx myself if I made a promise like that. You Da Man, go get'em !
Flysmallie Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 I didn't know that anyone had criticized the quality of fish in Stockton. I'd rather most people just ignore it or not know. Â Â
Dirtracer35 Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Stockton doesn't have quality fish. Too many pleasure fisherman keeping the big ones from the pros. Might as well throw that Ned rig and catch 50 twelve inchers. Confidence baits at their finest. Some lures catch bass no matter what. That's not a pattern to me. Quality fish change almost daily. Hard to predict. Would rather spend the time adding to the live well then stuck on a measuring board. IMO. Good luck and hope you whack em

Those are bold statements aggressor, but if you can do it, i will be impressed. As far as big fish, that can vary greatly from guy to guy. To be a big fish in this part of the country is anything over 5lbs. Anything over 8 is a trophy for Missouri, and lots of photos would be takin, along with a release. So if your big fish are what i consider big, then i hope you stick it to em. You could prove alot of very experienced anglers that fish Stockton that any average guy can go and catch hawgs at any given time, wrong. I cant wait for the pictures and videos of the 5+ pounders. I will be checking just after 10pm sunday. Hammer time, dtrs5kprs and Sac River Jim 3 TinBoats BassClub. Â An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.Â
Bird Watcher Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Let's open up the betting on this. I'd like some action. I'll take the bass to cover. dtrs5kprs, Sac River Jim and Hammer time 3
hknfsh Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Dirtracer....I didn't know the big bass were only for the pros. I'll be sure and throw them back then ! Your comment about pleasure fishermen sounds as if you resent anyone other than yourself catching a big one.
dprice Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Fishbach has proven this numerous times Saw a feller a few weeks back in a purple basscat don't now who he is he had a pair of 6 pounders.. Looked right at me. Put my mind to a guy a while back named Joe Mayer But I don't know Aggressor1988long 1 Dprice priceheatingair.comÂ

I guess C&R would have been a more appropriate term than pro. But that sometimes goes hand in hand with a mans ego when he talks.
