Members flyrod17 Posted June 24, 2015 Members Posted June 24, 2015 I visited TR for a little over a week in May and the forum provided me with lots of help. I greatly appreciated it as I've said before. I brought home the Ned Rig and vowed to catch fish on it here in Oklahoma. It works here to folks!! magicwormman, Muddy Water, Daryk Campbell Sr and 1 other 4 "I'm Haunted by Water"
Mitch f Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Very nice flyrod17 1 "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
Champ188 Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Cool deal, flyrod. Thanks for sharing this with us.
jolicious Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Brother, I am glad to see some dry land in the background. I heard y'all had been pounded as badly as us in NWA the last several weeks! flyrod17 1
dtrs5kprs Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Very nicely done, but be careful...it only catches little fish. Or so I'm continuously told.
MOPanfisher Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Sorry but once it crosses the state line the name "ned" no longer applies. In Oklahoma it would either be the "Sooner Rig" or perhaps the "Cowboy Rig" depending upon your preference. In Kansas it would likely be the "Jawhawker" because it brings a fiery death to innocent lives. In Arkansas they just call it that "half a rubber worm on a crappie jig thingy". Mitch f Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 What lake were you fishing, fly rod? "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor

Best thing that ever happened to Lawrence was when Quantrill burned it.
