Jerry Rapp Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 well, at least the Aunt's Creek thread has turned into a Gilligan Island topic (Ginger or Marry Ann). awhuber 1
Bill Babler Posted June 30, 2015 Author Posted June 30, 2015 I've pointed it out before... The logo for this forum is 5 smallies on a stringer... I have never seen this picture or the logo, where can I see it and it will be removed immediately. Did not even know it existed. I thought it was of me holding two Smallies for Denver Dixon to photograph that were immediately released at Big M. boat dock http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

cnr Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 You sir scare me..... Really? You're scared of someone wanting to promote safe boating? I understand the difficulties, I have owned many boats and it would be hard to test all the boat owners out there. I just think if folks had to prove there operational skill (Including loading the boat) it would help prevent some avoidable accidents. Would there still be idiots? Of course there would, but hopefully it would improve the situation. Could you imagine if anyone who wanted to drive a car didn't have to do anything more than purchase one. Oh wait, I don't have to imagine it, it would look like any major lake on a busy weekend. :-)
Blll Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 40 years ago I was the guy with the new boat and no clue. Wife & kids cowered on the dock cause "Dad was getting the boat back on the trailer" Made sense to me to get that trailer in good & deep. Why the boat kept drifting off was a manufacturer defect. Oh my what a day when some kind fisherman, laughing so hard he had tears, took pity on me. Since then I try to help all even the 20 somethings whose boat cost more than my 1st house. Surprising how many don't/won't want help. You can't pay for the Rt. 12 show every Sat. & Sun. Great weekend coming up. God bless America!! Riverwhy, awhuber and Codywskeeter1521 3

A lot of the problems in this country are a result of too much government and people quickly start thinking that the government is there to take care of you..... And no I'm not a crazy Republican or (obviously not) a Democrat. dtrs5kprs 1
