Old plug Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Bet if you called MDC here at the lake they would send someone out to look at it and take a sample. Or I can come by and we can take a few off and .i will take them down to Camdenton and show them the pics I have. I could give him your number to call.
96 CHAMP Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 buddy of mine down the lake from you on Indian creek rebuilt his lower unit on his small outboard he told me just the other day and found them on the motor and i believe he said in the water tube also, he kept the boat in the lake too long, took the blame and is going to make sure he pulls it out when not using it. He commented that they were zebra muscles but i don't think he really knows for sure.

fishinwrench Posted October 13, 2015 Author Posted October 13, 2015 (spoken in my best Church Lady manner); Oh My! Could it be... Ned larvae??????? Oh no you don't ! I discovered this magnificent life form and since nobody else, biologists included, can positively identify them then THEY ARE MINE ! They are "WrenchBoogers" and I'm pretty sure that they should be added to the endangered species list until further studies can be made. I'm applying for federal funding now, and if that goes through I'll be putting down my tools, retiring FAT, and closing off Gravois creek to all further dredging and/or development. Thank you for your participation, and I'll see you all at the next Bilderberg meeting. If you would like to donate, please visit www.wrenchbooger.com and navigate to the donation page. Note: Donations of 50.00 or more will receive a "Save the WrenchBooger" T-shirt and key fob. *T*, laker67, BilletHead and 1 other 4
BilletHead Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Well they will determine these WrenchBoogers are endangered and close your portion of the lake for years. Like in the swamp for the Ivory Billed Woodpecker. Better keep quiet about those WrenchBoogerPeckers. BilletHead "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" BilletHead " One thing in life is for sure. If you are careful you can straddle the barbed wire fence but make one mistake and you will be hurting" BilletHead P.S.
