snagged in outlet 3 Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Two of my buddies are working in NYC. But they had to try some striper fishing at night. Front porch of the Hyatt in Jersey City NJ. No bites though. Pete Greasy B and BilletHead 2
Flysmallie Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 That's a really cool photo. Too bad they didn't get one with a big striper and that horizon in the background. I've always wanted to fish in Central Park.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted November 25, 2015 Author Posted November 25, 2015 They were out kayaks last week in the Verrazono Narrows at night. I told them they are going to end up under an ocean scow. I go to NYC and New Jersey for work. They can keep it. Here's their fishing cart. BilletHead, Flysmallie, ness and 5 others 8
ColdWaterFshr Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Taking the bellman's cart to haul fishing gear down to the waters edge. Love it! Deadstream and Flysmallie 2
drew03cmc Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 That's fantastic! I'd love to get back to that part of the country, not NYC, but the ADK area. Andy
Al Agnew Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 I did fish for stripers and catch a couple nice ones in a boat coming off the Jersey side, but with the New York skyline not far away. Weird. Adirondacks are pretty sweet...and one of the two or three best smallmouth rivers I've ever fished was in upstate New York.
drew03cmc Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Upstate is gorgeous! Everyone should be so lucky to travel up there. Al, which rivers, if you don't mind me asking. Andy
snagged in outlet 3 Posted December 11, 2015 Author Posted December 11, 2015 This weeks catch from a yak no less.
