I can't get the link to open. However I did see a huge spot was caught in California that is new world record size. Probably the same article.

That sure would be fun to have tugging on the line.

No they're not killing them, they feed them trout.lol (Even though this 11lbs 4oz beast,on the left, was caught on a shakeyhead, i believe). Unfortunately, nobody from the CA DFG (DNR in Missouri) was able to come out and certify it. There's pics of it on 3 different scales.

Yep, the trout snacks help. The other part was a reference to Stockton.

Pretty sad when you are holding up an 8lb spot and it looks like it MIGHT just measure compared to your buddies 11lb behemoth. Why do I not live in California?
